History of Naringre
Village Naringre is a well known very ancient village. The lord Parshuram with shot of his arrow created the land by pushing back sea is known as Konkan, sprad from Thane to Goa, including districts Raigad, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg. Naringre village situated at Deogad taluka in Sindhudurg district, Maharashtra. Mythology is that saint Gorakshnath created this village Naringre. Gorakshnath is originator of 14 Vidyas and 64 kalas, he is socond in numbers out of nav naths. His guru Machhindranath used to visit konkan region. Machhindranath's guru lord Dattatray who is known as maha guru used to perform Tap( meditation) in this village. It is said even now, lord Dattatray visits this village once in every 12 years.
Village Naringre is having history of about 4000 years. The Jain rulers ruled this region for more than 200 years, their presence is seen in the temples in this area up till now. The Chalukya Dynesty and Devgiri Dynesty ruled this area. Afterward, in 15th and 16th centuaries Adilshahi ruled this region.
The landlord of village Naringre RANE came in this village in the year 1590. Rana Jaisimh ruled this area of Rajapur to kudal from 1590 to 1605. He defeated several times to portuges, but he died in battle with portuges at Hindale Village in the year 1605. Rana Jaisimh's father rana Jagmal died in battle in the year1594. Rana Jagmal was the eldest son of Rana Udaisimh, king of Udaipur, Rajasthan from his first wife. Rana Jagmal gave up his right on udaipur throne for his step brother Maha Rana Pratap. Rana Udaisimh when married to Maha Rana Pratap's mother from zalawad, Udaisimh promised on oath to Maha Rana Pratap's mama ( mothers' brother ) that his throne would be given to his sister's son. After death of Rana Udaisimh, Rana Jagmal left the throne of Udaipur to keep promise of Rana Udaisimh.
Adilshahi prevailed in konkan till 17th century. Thereafter Bhosale Dynest from Kolhapur ruled this area till English ruler took over India.
