Miryachiwadi village has been located on the bank of Banganga river.This village has been nearly about 15km.away from main tehsil PHALTAN...Nearly about 2km from Phaltan-Pusegaon road..This village has been located at South side of Phaltan...

HISTORY OF VILLAGE-

This village had great historical & cultural background..The grampanchayat of village had established at 1992..There are a temple of MARIMATA,which called a GRAMDAIVAT of village..There are also temple of  Lord MARUTI, ,Lord RAM, Lord BHAIRAVNATH, Lord KALUBAI.this temple has a beautifull stone carvings..As per knowledge of old-age citigens of village the name of village had given by the name of Lord MARIMATA...

GEOGRAPHY OF VILLAGE-

Miryachiwadi has been located at 17.98degree N, 74.43degree E..has an ave,elevation of 568m.Phaltan climate is an inland climate of Maharashtra..The temperature has a relatively high range between 15�C to 45�C. Summer in Phaltan is comparatively hot, and dry, compared to neighbouring inland cities. Maximum temperatures exceed 40�C every summer and typically range between 38 to 45�C. Lows during this season are around 25�C to 28�C.

The area receives very less rainfall from June to September and it is declared as drought prone place by Government. City sometimes gets nil rainfall during the rainy season...

CULTURE OF VILLAGE-

Miryachivadi has a great culture..Village citigens celebrating the festival of MARIMATA YATRA annually.The festival is of 5 days.In this 5 days all the people of village are celebrating,enjoying this festival nicely ,happily & carefully.In this festival village peoples organised a entertainment programmes like orchestra,cultural activities of village students under the well guidence of Mr.Mulik sir,Mr.Chavan sir.Miryachiwadi village also celebrating GANESH festival annually under the govt.scheme of EK GAON EK GANPATI...under the well management of Mr.Kiran Laxman Chavan( Chairman,Shivchatrapati Ganeshotsav Mandal).

SHIVJAYANTI FESTIVAL-

At the time of MARIMATA yatra  festival the villagers also celebrate the SHIVJAYANTI festival.This festival is celebrated on the birth day of Shivaji Maharaj.

The statues of CHATRAPATI SHIVAJI MAHARAJwill be installed on a rath and it will be taken all over the village.  On this day Processions are held. People dress up like Shivaji and his associates to take part in the procession where they put up small skit, which they keep on performing all the way in the procession. Various programs are arranged on this day.In this way all 5 days villagers are arranged and celebrating this yatra festival by very emotionally as well as happily..........

OTHER-

1.JALSWARAJYA CAMPAIGN

Maharashtra govt. has been organised lot of scheme for the developement of rural areas & JALSWARAJYA is one of that scheme which had launched at 2004 by MAHARASHTRA WATER SUPPLY & SANITATION DEPARTMENT.which related to clean drinking water & SANT GADGEBABA SANITATION CAMPAIGN.

                                                                                       The Jal Swarajya project was undertaken to increase the capacity of rural community members to demand clean water. Additionally, intended for village members to be able to plan, implement, monitor, and maintain the water supply themselves.             

                                                   As it has been proud for our village that our village has organised this scheme & has been achieved a great success in it.Our village got many prizes from STATE as well as CENTRAL govt.It has been also proud for us that our village rank 1st at district level in 2010-11 in the scheme of SANT GADGEBABA VILLAGE SANITATION CAMPAIGN.

2.MAHATMA GANDHI DISPUTE FREE SCHEME-

As it has also known that HOME MINISTERY OF MAHARASHTRA  has launched MAHATMA GANDHI TANTAMUKTI YOJNA.at 4 years ago.

Our village followed that scheme & also achieve great success in it.......

Village also followed NIRMAL GRAM YOJNA,,SANT GADGEBABA SANITATION CAMPAIGN.& has been developed village educationally,socially &  by sanitationaly.......

The great feature of village is that there is a great UNITY in villagers..& everyone has participated physically,economically,mentally in all programme of village..

There is a great role of Ex.Sarpanch of village, Mr.Y.M.Mulik,Late Mr.S.G.Chavan,Mr.R.Y.Chavan,Current Sarpanch Mr.M.G.Jadhav as well as other social volunteers of village including,Late Mr.K.J.Mulik,Late Mr.D.N.Jadhav,Mr.H.D.Dange,Mr.K.K.Chavan,Mr.T.U.Humbe,Mr.S.G.Mulik,Mr.S.S.CHAVAN.in village developement......................
