Sarpanch of Arvi -Savita Vikas Raut Arvi is village in koregaon taluka at south end. In arvi village bhimashankar mandir (temple) well known to no of many near villages. The old story is that they started to dig around pind, but not satisfied. From that day temple is on same place. Arvi is famous for sadha pan and ginger. Even state government award won by our panchayat for development in between 1968-1970. Mr yashwanrao chavan visited our village in same year. Lok kala manch (tamasha)created by eknathrao gaikwad and laxman gaikwad. Till today they are doing well in satara district.no of person from arvi are on high post in all area, like education, army,navy, police, medical and engineering.
Arvi village is famous for sadha Pan. In past daily truck service was followed by Sayyad transport Satara. Bhima Shankar temple is famous in this area for natural pind. The history was written and told us was also true. Marathi school and teachers were very good and hard worker and due to that many students are on high position in india. Village having many educated families and staying out for job purpose, but they come for Dasera and other functions.
One thing has to say that there is no development as compared with did by ex Sarpanch/s. All party people have to come together and make clean and sundar ARVI in koregaon taluka. Because e village and its having roads are nice. One good government hospital required as compared with population. Arvi is famous in India for Nagveli. Arvi is very beautiful village in Koregoan Taluka
