Devarampadu is spiritually noted place. And also all the farmers are mostly devotional and ethic followed people. The village is having two large ponds one is for drinking purpose and another is for cattle needs. The drinking pond was donated to the people of that village by late Manthry Jaggaraju and hence it is being named after him as Jaggaraju Cheruvu.And another pond was noted by late Akkaiah and hence it is being called on his name as Akkaiah Cheruvu.Another small pond was donated by Manthry family members for theuse of Washer men. The berried ground was also donated to the village by Manthry's family members which is being used by all the villagers. The village is having one beautiful temple of Venugopala Swamy. All the people of that village with the main support of Sri Gopala Krishna Murthy, Sri Sagi VijayaRama Raju, Chebrolu Venkateswarlu, Nannapaneni Veeriah, Lakshmiah, Subbaish, Muppavarapu Jaliah and other many people one beautiful library was built by the villagers which is having many valuable books of 5000 nos. Now the temple is being reconstructed by the villagers with main support of Sri Ramakrishnam Raju and other village people. Sagi Vijaya Rama Raju was a great Freedom fighter and he was participated in so many freedom movements. Chebrolu Anjaiah and Manthry Gopala Krishna murthy,Muppavarapu Balaramaiah are some of the main freedom fighters of that period. Sri Manthry nGopala Krishna Murthy was a Good spokesman, high thinking person had participated so many social service works like performing Janma Bhoomi works, temple works, library development works, reconstruction of ponds, service to poor and needy people etc. He was worked as Village Officer for that village as well as for 6 other villages for about 80 years and gained name and fame among the people of those villagers. The Great well noted freedom fighter and ex-Chief Minister of our state Sri Tanguturi Prakasham Panthulu was used to visit this village frequently during freedom movements and conducted many secret meetings near Devarampadu Villaage on the banks of River Gudlakamma.The sacred place was called Satyagraha Shibiram and was inaugurated by the National leader Sri Babu Rajendra Prasad, Ex-Presidet of India. The place is being visited by many tourists and thata place has to be improved by the Government for developing national thinking among the people.The village is having very good coastal belt and thousands of fishermen are living in Pallipalem and Gundayapalem. Fish and prawn are being exported from this place. Late Sri Sivaraju Subbarao was the Bala Vikas Guru of Sri Satya Sai Baba and he made many students having with the spiritual high thinking.Sri Manthry nSeetha Ramanjaneyulu of this village was started a local news paper named Chicchara Pidugu.Many cultural organisors and artists are borne in this village namely Manthry panakala Rao, Satyanarayana, SeshagiriRao, Sreerama murthy, Bhujangarao, umamaheswara Rao, narahari Venugopla, Sagi Ganga Raju, Muppavarapu Venkaiah, Penumucha Raviraju, Sagi seetha Rama Raju, Ganduri Gangaiah, Ganduri Seshagiri Rao, Chunchu Sreeramulu and others. Manthry Sree Rama Murthy is now being giving service in the post of President, Prakasham District Sri Satya Sai Seva Samithi.Manthry Bhujanga Rao was a TV , Stage artist.He served the cultural field in the post of General Secretary in South Central Railway Andhra Lalitha Kala Samithi, Seunderabad for about 15 years.
