In this village there are 2 banks ICICI and Canara Bank. ICICI bank is on the land of Mr.Balwan Foji and Canara is on Sukhpal Master. It is the village of players. Dehra is beautiful village 7 km away from samalkha. In in past dehra village was the part of Jurasi Village. Jurasi was a very big and most Paulette village in the whole area. Jurasi had very vast land for agriculture, it was very difficult to care their land so people of jurasi divided into seven parts.these part become the seven villages nemed aata, dikadala, gadi chhaju, dehra, gadi, pawti and Jurasi. People of dehra decided to live a palace where they get full amount water for their own and cattle. They went 5 km away from Jurasi found a place surrounded from water. They decided to live there.If we see that the geographical shape of dehra it look like a Village Island. Surrounded from water east side bhathe wala johad and hadwari wala johad, south side madir wala johad and tanki wala johad, wast side mata wali johdi and julaho wala johad and north side lal guru, chuhdo wala johad and gusai wala johad. Gusai wala johad is the lowest point in the dehra. in short we say that it a a water village. In Hindi we can say that 'dera dalna'. After few years Dera became Dehra. Then people of dehra started their own Panchayat. In the Years 1920-1950 Dehra became great power in Haryanvi swang. Dehra's Great Sangi Jhandu Meer became the roll for Haryana, up and Delhi area. In that days dehra was known as 'Jhandu wala Dehra' Mann singh, lakmi chand and mange ram are also the famous sangi of haryana, but Jhandu meer was best. After the partition of india Jhandu moves to Pakistan and this was the end of a great legend. Mange ram given his name to all sawng of jhandu meer by froud and became most famous sangi of post independence haryana. people of Dehra tried to gain that glory but failed.during these days this is the developing village
