Patane is a village. Although it is a village but it is one of the big village in tahsil Malegaon. No doubt it has historical base. It might have build up bebore maratha rule.
It had a strong coats of stones having two huge gates. One of them was in east when other was in the west. Now they are no where. Patne situated at the right bank of Girana river. One another Parsul river flows in west side. Patane is known as a irrigatted village. There is a canal over to Girana River. For this purpose britsh rulers have build up small dam [Bandhara].of two ways. One for village Patane & other for Village Dabhadi.
Pandit Jawaharlal Neharu Madhyamik Vidhyalay Patane is a secondary School. Another English medium school is Samata English Medium School Patane. Nashik Z. P. Primary school is also Running in the village.
