OverView of Rasidpura
Before formation of republic of India rasidpura was under rule of jodha rajput king of state jodhpur. and the village was ruled under jodha thakurs. Before jodha occupied this village, raseeda khaaan(daughter of dolu kha who was subedar of daulatpura near didwana) was the ruler and village was known as raseedkha. after jodha occupants came and changed the name of village as rasidpura. It was totally Muslim village but at present there are Muslim population. is nill, all evidences of Islam was distorted and built mandir of shiva which is now known as old mandir. last known thakur was thakur jatin singh ji jodha,who was one of loyal subedar of maharaja of jodhpur. later th.jaiin singh ji resigned from his post of jodhpur state, after a little dispute with maharaja. th.jatin singh ji had three son 1.sh.prahalad singh ji(died in young age) 2. sumer singh ji 3. laxman singh jith. Jatin singh jis wife died in young age and left three children on thakurs hand. some says it is the main reason of resignation of thakur from post of subedar of jodhpur state. later his elder son died. and afer some months thakur jatin singh ji was rest in peace. now his second son took the responsibility and joined panchayat but he was only care taker of the house and his brother there were no ladies in that house. and later th. Sumer singh lost his influence till end of year 2000.
