The history of Nunfara is not so significant. It was a zamindari of Roy family. The Zamindari of Roy family is known as Nunfara Darbaar. The residence of the family is situated on the outer of the village known as Rai Bhawan. The Known zamindars were Maalik Shiv Narayan Roy, Maalik Ram Dahin Roy, Maalik Mahendra Prasad Roy.
