Banda is originated under bengal ruler Mir Qasim some of associate come to area of chotanagpur for better administration and revenue collection. He gave the title of mirdaha to associate who was responsible for collecting the tax from the area of chotanagpur. The mirdaha is very common in southern chotanagpur area mainly lies in lohardaga district and some part of Ranchi.Some of them settled near Village Banda and they adopted the name bcoz of the 2 village's lies in common area oroan Banda mostly tribal populated area and other is muslim Banda majority of population belongs to Muslim's population and as i mentioned they were associated of Mir kashim holding the title of mirdaha ( land lord of that time, Most of population of that village find their belongings to the same caste.Edit below overview about Banda
