Bandrana is a big village of Ror caste. The main gotra in the village is Thardak. The name of the Sarpanch is Krishan Kumar. There is famous Bidusar Tirath Sthal.Elder elders say that earlier the Gurjars of Chechi gotra used to live here. He had a boy and a girl. A road-going boy from Ahar village came to him. That Gurjar kept you with him too. That Gurjar married the boy and settled in Rasulpur village and married the girl in Gorsi gotra and settled her in Khedi Rywali. The boy from Road Jati (Thardak gotra) came to him from Ahar and married him at Road Jati in Kaul village. Settled him in a closed village Rana. Even today, three villages of Rasulpur, Bandarana and Khedi Rywali have equal acreage of land.
Years ago, bandrana was popular as bindusar tirth but now this place is not in existence even the earlier photos of lord shiva temple is a clear proof of that. If u look into history the pond near lord shiva mandir was a religious place. According to the haryanvi culture meusium named as “Drohara” that means the wealth of haryana. Which is located in kurukshetra you can see the proves of bindusar tirth . But the data had been stolen and now people believe that this place is in Barout village. Which is not true.
