Even now, Rajia Sultanas tomb can be seen in Kaithal; however her burial place has reduced to rubbles, because of the peoples unawareness. Kaithal was governed by Badsaha Ullaudin, who is the Sultan of the Khillaji Dynasty. He later went to the Delhi Sultanate. After the battle of Panipat, in the time period of 1756 to 1761, Kaithal was ruled by Nadir Shah, the king of Afgan. On the Gulha-Cheeka Road, even now, a village called Patti Afgan is there.
From 1763 BC to 1843 BC, Kaithal was governed by Bhai, who were the Sikh rulers. This kingdom was founded by Bhai Gubhaks Singh. By seizing the empire from authority of the Afgans, Bhai Gubhaks Singhs successor Bhai Desa, established this empire. Bhai Lal Singh admitted defeat in front of the British as well as acknowledged their rule. in 1818 BC when he passed away, Partap Singh, who was the eldest son of Bhai Lal Singh, governed this place. However in the same year, the throne was taken away by Bhai Udey Singh, his brother. Without the occurrence of any breakdown and malfunction, the place was governed by him. In his time he had constructed buildings, which still exists here. In Patialas Mueseum, the letter he wrote in Pharsi language is still secured.
Throughout the duration of his rule, Kaithal remained at its peak magnificence and brilliance. In his court, there was presence of renowned poet like Bhai Santokh Singh. Nanak Prakash, Atam Puran and Guru Partap Suraj are some of his popular and well liked compositions. Still surviving are the one lack Salokas, composed by him during his existence.
