OverView of Nanadiya
The village was founded by Kadva Patel leaders 'Sapovadia' in 16th century. Sapovadia family migrated from village Sapawada in North Gujarat. The original village was little North-West from the present position. The village faced contageous and chronic disease like cholera/small pox, that has compelled villagers to move to present position. The other Patel accompnied at the time of migration were Savsani, Garala, Viroja and Kansagra. These families were Vaishnavas and the village have several private shrinathji temples called as havelis. The village is famous for Dayaram ashram founded in middle of 20th century (1954). The ashram was informally founded on land contributed by Madhavjibapa Kansagra by Shri Dayabapa Chadsania, son & son-in-law of the village. The ashram was then developed and formally formed into public trust by Chhaganbapa Sapovadia in late 1990s.
The village have primary school, highschool and anganwadi. The village have a cooperative bank's (SHREE JUNAGADH VIBHAGIYA NAGARIK SAHAKARI BANK LTD.) branch.
The village is full of farmers generally taking monson crop of ground nut, cotton, seasame seeds, maize, bajri and jawar.
