Songar the village ancient by rajbhar latter on that was occupied by senger rajput belonging to raghubansh of ayodhya and brahmins also.There was a famous temple srigkeshwar nath or segarnath nath with special power to inactivate the snack venom.During muslim regime the senger rajput changed into khan brahmins into shekh and the temple have been diminished and constructed the mosque named shekh masjid at the south side of village.
