Nangal salem pur is well known for an old Temple of Baba Bhaghwaan puri(Shiv Mandir), Here is a Dargah of Baba Gulab Shah peer (a very famous and Beautiful Dargah which is attached with the Baba Bhagwan puri mandir. The Mostly Population of this village is Bazighar Biradari, A big part of bazighar biradari is from Jassuke family(Who was Rajpoot and from an old Kingdom of India. here are some Aaddharmi, Jatt, Kamboj.Some time ago it was a moderen village but after starting to sale drugs (Poppy ) it is known as a doddey Nangal,It is a bad factor of this village,and very good person is degected from this work. Police do not stop this, they take money and leave them.
