Chittapuram is a small village in Andhra Pradesh, Palnadu District, Ipur Mandal having BO as Chittapuram which is having a sub Village Named Ponugotivari Palem also Known as Kothapalem.Chittapuram has a History where it is surrounded by a pond and Hundreds of Agricultural Land the people in Chittapuram is mainly depends on Farming Cattle feeding literacy is increasing in recent times.
Coming to History in Early 19 and 20th Centuries there is a Head of the Village PEDDAKAPU" Based on a Single Family its "KATTA".
the name itself indicating that they are more families living in that village whose initial is Katta. Coming to decision making A family took the responsibility in fact its a god given resposibility to them to take care of the village. A person Named Katta Rangayya garu who firstly took the initiative whih is he was born on early 19th century where in 1870's he has given the responsibilty to take care of people where at that time he is a landlord. being head for the village he never took a wrong step at that time one person came and Argued with Rangayya garu that I'm also Having Initial as Katta why I don't want to Do as Head of village "Peddakapu" then it went so miracle. which is with in few days that person has Died due to Blood Vomitings from that time no one has dare to argue with Thier Family.
After few years Rangayya garu died due to aged and health issues he has 3 Sons Named Katta Venkaiah garu , Katta Gopaiah Garu , Katta Venkatappaiah Garu from these 3 persons only Katta Venkatappaiah Got Married and blessed with 2 children Soon After Rangayya Garu died His 3rd Son was Fored to Take the Pattabhishekam of Peddakapu but he is having some health issues having daughter's marriage at child age only he was made as Peddakapu then after some years he died due to health issues at that time his son is having 8 years he used live with his Uncle (Fathers Elder Brother) Katta Gopaiah garu thereafter he Used to work Day and Night and at that small age he Used to earn a lot of money.
Then After few years his Uncle Katta Gopaiah garu died with health issues then at early 15 years of age he was forced to Become the "PEDDAKAPU" then he has take over all the village works and needs of people with all the way of his style. He is one of the legend to that village people used to call him for any thing that has to be done in village for 70 years he ruled One Sidedly and worked hard for the village. he has 2 sons namely "Katta Venkatappaiah garu" and "Katta Gopaiah garu" this family created a milestone upto Venkateswarlu's turn no one dared to look at them. then after the death of Venkateswalru in 2012 the village people have felt so sad and then as per the Rights "Katta Venkatappaih garu" became the "Peddakapu" then for taking the charge after few years he have passed away on 2020 then His Younger brother is Heading the village its a bad time for the family and village after the death of Venkateswarlu Garu. Venkatappaiah Garu Blessed with 2 girl children named Katta Siva Parvathi and Katta Sasi Deepthi and Gopaiah garu blessed with 3 children 2 sons and 1 girl named Katta Ramanajaneyulu , Katta Trivendra and Katta Sravanthi its an end of golden era. now as per thier village norms from the past years Ramanjaneyulu need to be Peddakapu for coming Years its about thier family History and Villagers are full happy with Venkateswarlu's Ruling.
