The history of korap is very proud, The korap zamindar "BHUMIHAR BRAHMIN" "sri durga prasad singh" after that "sri hari parasad singh"and lastly "sri bachu prasad singh" ruled over about 250 years on korap and theri near locality. About 2000 bighas land and raiyats are came under in his zamindari. In his zamindari there are 88 pairs of ox, about 50 horses and two elephants. At the time of freedom he buy a tractor from culcuta that time only three tractor are in "MAGADH" so there is a new thing for people and the people are came from other villages to see it because one of the biggest state like shekpura and awama state he had more land than korap zamindar "sri hari prasad singh" but he can not afford tractor that time. there is a long history of korap Zamindars but i can not write here.
