Histroy:
The history of village Bir Bholuwala goes back about 60 years, the land that the village lies on was unused area / jungle. The land was owned by the Raja of Faridkot: Sardar Barjinder Singh Brar therefore it was named "Bir" & Bholuwala was the next nearby established village therefore for Bir (means jungle) was named Bir Bholuwala.
Raja of Faridkot: Sardar Barjinder Singh Brar owned a vast amount of land therefore he decided to sell his unused area / jungle which then became Bir Bholuwala.
The Raja of Faridkot sold the land firstly to: Sardar Veer Singh Dhillon, Avatar Singh Brar, Inder Singh Brar, Puran Singh Sandhu & Avatar Singh (Pakha Kallan)
Bir Bholuwala has a canal running through the middle of the village therefore the village land is in two parts and people live in both parts one part is know has "Wandera Walla Kothe"
There is small village shop (Hattie) owned by Sham Singh which well known. A Dispensary , School, Gurdwara & Water Filter Pump for public use.
The village is very green and beautiful.
The residents /owners of the "Bir" are from nearby villages who have various surnames some of which are: Dhillon, Brar, Sandhu, Sran, Wander, Sethi, Alukh, Sekhon. The population of the village is about 450 to 500 of which the casts are Jatt Sikh and Mujabi Sikh.
