Boddagandi is a village in Y.Ramavaram Mandal of Rampachodavaram Division in East Godavari District. Though it belongs to Y.Ramavaram Mandal it is located near to Maredumilli mandal and had a route through maredumilli. Hence the Govt., had decided to Bifurcate the above said village from Y.Ramavaram mandal and submerge into Maredumilli mandal. The proposals were still pending with the Gotv., and yet to be approved. 1.It is located above 27mts form the sea level and the only way to reach the village is to climb the hill.2.The hill is very scary and had no proper road to travel. The way is full with Red Gravel and is slippery where only two wheelers with better Tyre Grip can climb and Four Wheeler like Mahindra Jeep can climb the hill to reach the Village. 3.In the middle of the hill there are five canals in which water level is upto the Knee and the road is very slippery till some way after crossing the canal. 4.There are Seven ups and Seven downs on the Hill with very difficult curves to reach the village. 5.To reach the village Head to Maredumilli and afterwards to the way to Gurthedu. After crossing there is a way to Kaniwada and Boddagandi villages. Ask anyone there and turn left to the Correct road till hill comes to reach Boddagandi. Warning: no one can not reach without wounds by slipping on the hill.
