Pimparkheda (Tal.Shindkheda Dist.Dhule)village has historical importance due to the 'Old Well' known as 'Chor-bawadi'.It is located near Mumbai-Agra Highway.This is built well, is with steps.It is supposed that in past this Well (Bawadi)was used by thieves(Chor) to hide. Most peoples of this village belong to Kunbi Caste as their main occupation is farming ones own land to survive, or to work as farm labour. Surnames with Khairnar, Deore, Wagh, Bilade and Shinde are reciding in this vilage belongs to Kunbi caste. Beside these few Bhilla, Mahar, and Koli families are also residing in this village.
This village is characterised by huge Old Banyan tree (Ficus benghalensis) on which Pimple tree(Ficus religiosa) grown together and formed association.But Banyan tree is now on the way of replacing by Pimple. It is the place to gather together for different ceremonies under this tree.
Mari Aai (Mother) is the main Goddess of village.Mari Aai temple, God Hanuman's and few other temples are also near below Banyan tree. Mari Aai's Fair is famous in the Dhule district; celebrated on the day of Vasant Panchami in the month of Magh.The fair is famous because on this day 'Walking on Glowing Wood's Fire' was practiced since from past by the persons such as Late Bhagat (Bhakta) Daji with Ragho (Dada)Khairnar and Pating Dada. Another Jotiram Bhagat with Bhatu Nana & Dhudaku Patil.
The greater companion(right hand) of Thansingh jibhau(Far-visioned MLA in history of shindkheda), known as Lotan Khairnar(Aba) was a great social worker and himself was Sarpanch of Pimperkheda. He along with Thansingh Jibhau carried out many movements such as "Rasta Roko Andolan"(On Agra-Mumbai Highway) many times for Shortage of drinking water in village and fought against government authorities.
