Digthan is famous for the temple called as malwa ki vaishno devi. The village seems like a mela in navratri and people from many villages around digthan comes to visit the temple.There is a old saying and story behind the temple that, many years ago, people use to go for bath to the river called dangul and once the devi came in the dream of a man about her existence in the river and he narrated the dream to everyone in the village and then people went to the river.everyone was shocked, as the dream was true! There was statue of three devi call Mahakali, sarasvati, mahalakshmi on one stone. It was too haevy that elephants and hourse were brought to pull the statute. People also believe that the statute was immovable from the place where the temple is situated today. Other then this temple village also has many other temple which are believed to be very old like murli manohar mandir, whice has a very beautiful statute of lord krishna and radha. Deval,mandir of lord shiv, which is surrounded by a beautiful view of greenery.The name of the village the earlier named as dig-sthan because of the temples all around the village.But gradually is was called as digthan.Edit below overview about Digthan
