Kot village was settled by Raja Kisan Singh about 500 years ago, it used to come in the princely state of Jaipur, the oldest temple in this village is the Gopi Nath temple, which has a tunnel inside. This tunnel is coming from the fort, in which the queen Shri Gopi Nath ji is worshipped. The fort used to come is now in the form of a ruin.
