Bandakote
Meaning ( in telugu banda means rock & kote means fort ) FORT WAS BUILT ON ROCK WITHOUT FOUNDATION ( not able to dig foundation since it is a rock ). That's why the name BANDAKOTE.All houses are covered by fort which is having only two big doors for accesebility. One big sreerama temple is suiated in the middle of the village. Every year peoples are celebrating the utsavas in april - may months.
It was formed by Marata king chintamani rao. This is 13 km away from chintamani town on konakuntalu road. The main occupation of the villagers is agriculture & depending on rain water. Peoples in this village are hard workers
The life styles of the villagers are not upto the mark. Village having 95 houses, Only one passed the S.S.L.C examination on 1988 and Diploma in 1991, He belongs to Adi Dravida ( S.C ) ie. B.V.SRINIVASA.
