Sikraursahbari is a village in the tehsil/mandal of Martinganj in the Azamgarh district of Uttar Pradesh. Sikraur Sahbari is situated between Phoolpur and Saraimeer. It is 6 km away from Saraimeer and 6 km away from Phoolpur. Hindus and Muslims live in this village. Sikraur Sahbari it is old name in Mughlan Sikraur, because his Muslims lived in Sikraur. Its name was changed in 1994. Mughal king Aurangzeb stayed here for sometime. He built a mosque in the villege. Today the mosque is in Fattepur because Mughlan Sikraur was divided. Muslims here belong to Ansari caste. Some people are Mansoori. Haji Jahangir was mukhiya (sarpanch). He died in 1972. He was very brave and honest man. He was a landowner.Grampanchayat sikraur has 3436 voters. In this village there are two Mosques and one Mandir. This village has a total population of 4400. Muslim:-Majority of the muslims in the district belong to the Sunni sect. Among them the most numerous are Julahas or weavers. They pray God and his prophet, Muhammad known as namaj preferably in a Mosque five times a day, keeping fast(Roja) in the month of Ramjan, proceeding on Haj to Mecca.
