OverView of Khatibpur
Khatibpur is an historical village. Where there are 25 houses of Rizvi Sadat ( descendent of 8th true successor of holy prophet saw) are residing.Khatib is an Arabic word which means orator. Marhoom Mir Amjad Ali was the great grand father of the Sadat of the Khatibpur he was renowned scholar and orator of his time. He was Ataleeq( teacher) in Mughal period. Mir Amjad Ali is also known as BARA HAZARIA Dada(12000) in Aurangzeb time a person complained to him that he is Syed and Shia by faith so he asked him sit on burning iron chair, if you are true syed it will not burn you. Alhundulillah he was protected by Allah. Aurangzeb gave of 12000 rupees which was a huge ammount which he spent to construct an Imambargah ( Karbala of Khatibpur) it is situated in cemetery of Khatibpur which is very big cemetery waqf for his descendent. Mir Amjad ali was buried inside the imambargah.Every first Thursday of the lunar celender momeneen of Khatibpur has majlis in the village followed by procession which finished at Imambargah.
Khatibpur has a Beautiful masjid which is belong to Shia. There are some personal , family imambargah and azalhane in Khatibpur. People of Khatibpur has very good set up of Islamic Madersa, which was started by Marion Maulana syed Shabihul Hasan over 50 years before still Madersa is Runing.
Momeneen of Khatibpur they mark all Islamic events like birthdays and martyrdom of 14 infallible ( masoomeen).
15th Shabab there was a great celebration organised by Marhoom syed Mohammad Sibtain 90 years before and continued for 50 years he and his family they used to invite scholars and poets from different places.
Then 30 years before Marhoom mohammad Hasan alias Jafar sahab has started celebrating birthday of 9th imam Hazrat Mohmad Taqi as. After his death still that tradition is in progress now organiser syed zafar Hasan ( younger brother of Marhoom Jafar).
People of Khatibpur they commemorate for Imam Hsain as for 68 days special events are Ashoora, checksum and last day of Aza. And an important event is 24th Moharram Eve of the Martydom of imam Zainulabedin as. They invite scholars , anjumans.( group of mourners) , whole night majlis processions and mournings are being take place.

Maulana Syed Shabihul Hasan he was an alim,Imame jamat in Khoja masjid Mumbai serve the community for more than 40 years. He was head master in municipal corporation school.
Maulana Syed Zafar Yab Ali role model, kind teacher and very good orator. May Allah give him long life.

He has visited USA , UK, Canada,Sweden, Newzealand , Hong Kong, South Africa and East African countries and Middle East as a visiting scholar.
