OverView of Majhiawan
The first president of India, Dr Rajendra Prasad, visited Manjhiawan village on humble request of Shree Pt. Yadunandan Sharma. A 10 x 20 ft long platform was made on previous night of president's visit in the western side of village named as "Satiarah" near the Lord Shiva Temple. There is also a High school named as Pandit Yadunandan Sharma High school surrounded with long green plants of seesam. One very big well is also there where most of the villagers quench their thirst of water.On the southern part of the school, there is a gig playground where people play cricket.When you visit the south eastern part of village, you will see maa Bhagwati sthan (Devi Temple) and Hanuman Ji temple. At the Distance of 500 Meyers you will see Baba Bholenath Mandir (Shiv Mandir) located at kuchh Hari. All villagers have great faith and worship here. On the northern part of village, you will see a Primary school. Nearby this school there is also a Shiv temple. At the distance of 300 Meyers, there is Thakurbaari where Lord Ram and Mata Sita with all family members are worshipped. The campus of Thakurbaari is filled with pushed green mango trees, papaya, guava, etc.On the eastern part of the village, there is a big banyan tree where marital rituals for cutting leaves on the day of barat visit. Moving ahead this place towards the Manikpur road, you will see a bus stand where buses come from all directions.People of this village are very simple, humble, and spiritual.
