Vangaram is a beauty ful village in ariyalur district nature and happiness are always stays with that village people. a beautiful forest is have a deers and many peacoks, animals are lives in the forest. Vangaram in agriculture oriented village and cultivated crops mainly cotton and rainfed paddy around 100 hectares land. 965 votes in our village.To the west of the town there is a lake called Kondrai Medoo. The lotus flowers blooming in this lake are very beautiful to see. A little to the west of this is a lake called Little Kondrai Medoo. Ayyanar temple is located inside this lake. There is a big lake in the state forest and only from this lake water flows for paddy cultivation. People fish from this lake during summer.On the branch road to Ayan Thattanur there is a lake called Double kulam This lake was once used for bathing and drinking water but now this lake is not in use. To the east of Vangaram Ambedkar nagar is a lake called Tachan Kuttai. This Tachan Kuttai is a name for Lord Buddha and reminds us that there may have been people who could follow Buddhism in the past. A little south side of this lake there is a pond called Buddha Kuttai, this Kuttai is also called Aiya Kuttai. There is another pond named Iyyaa pond, this pond is located in the forest area. Near the town of Vangaram Ambedkar Nagar is a lake called Seeli Guttai on the way to lawyer K.Sasikumar's chicken farm. The word Seeli is a Pali word so it appears that there may have been a large number of people who followed the Buddha Religious. Muni is a word that refers to Sakya Muni Buddha. The Green Sage is also a Buddhist state representing the village of mind in the teachings of the Buddha. To the east of this temple is Veeranar temple, in that temple Kolanji is tricking the people. There is a Karupusamy temple at Chinna Kontrai meedu and a Chelliyamman temple near the forest. In the center of centre of village are Duropati and Mariamman temples. There is a Kamakshi temple. The West Perumal temple of the village is there, this temple is mostly worshiped by Yadavs and the Uriyadi festival is held for the birth of the Tamil year. Moopanar Temple is located near Vangaram Buddha puthu Colony This temple is mostly Worship by Adhidravidya Parayas. Mariamman Temple is located in Ambedkar Colony. Most of the villagers are Parayas. Vanniars also live there. The children of udiyar, Yadava, Chettiar were priests. Pillai Vannar Gumutti Setti. And there are people living who can follow Buddhism. vangaram Ambedkar is located in the city. Sasikumar is working as a lawyer and is a famous lawyer of Ariyalur district.
