R.S. Govt. Degree College has come into being way back in 1993, in a rural backdrop to cater to the educational needs of Shivrajpur, Kanpur region of the state of Uttar Pradesh. This college is situated 200 m. away from railway station and well connected with Kanpur, Bilhaur and Kannauj districts.
College has been adopting interdisciplinary approach in teaching and extension areas like computer education in order to keep pace with present dynamic environment by offering a ‘O’ level Certificate Programme for the students affiliated to C.S.J.M. university Kanpur . A U.G.C. Computer Network Resource Centre has been established in the campus.
