Established in 2008, GCAD is one of the top architecture colleges in Delhi NCR, Haryana. GCAD was initiated by an architect Mr. Rakesh Aggarwal and his business partner Mr. H.P. Mangla. They were already well established in the field of education as they were running an international school in Sonipat and had been associated with both school and higher education earlier.
The initiation of this college was supported by Professor Anil Kumar a retired Dean of Deen Bandhu Chotu Ram Universitry of Science and Technology, Murthal who has been teaching architecture since 1975. This school of architecture was started with the intent of creating a model school using contemporary technology as teaching aid.
