OverView Of Gag Sultan

Village Gag Sultan is on Dasuya -  Hajipur road at six (06) km from Dasuya. All original  residents of this village were Muslims who migrated to Pakistan at the time of partition. All present Jat Sikh residents have moved to Gag Sultan from Pakistan after the partition except one Mand family who purchased 35 acres land in this village during 1964 from S. Banta Singh village numberdar at that time and moved to this village  from Mand village situated at 09 km from Dasuya towards East. Apart from Jat Sikhs there are Pandits, Bajigars, Julahas, Mashas and  Harijans  in this village  Total land of this village is 138 hectares. There was a Masjid in this village, the building of which fell down at its own because of no care after Muslims departure.  With the permission of Wakf Board, village residents have constructed a Guruduara at the same place during 1973. There is a govt primary school in this village.There is a big pond ( Toba ) in this village which is under extinction because of unauthorised occupation of Toba land by the surrounding residents. There are two unused village wells in this village which were the source of life line till nineteen seventees.
