Kapurdha is very famous for sharsti mata temple.History of this temple is very interesting, many native people believing that one man from the shrivastava family of this village got a dream of devil,she said to him am present in ur farm fields,so make a well at ur farm then u will get me and construct one small temple,slowly slowly it become a very famous and the devotee of this temple is going to increase day by day.The blessings of sharsti mata is very useful for those people they dont get child after many years of marriage.

 The name of this village is kapurdha because of five reasons,

1.Forty % of population of this vilage is belongs to kankubj bhramin.

2.Nearly Forty % of population of this vilage is belongs to Kirar cast.

3.Usage of kapur is very high.

4.There are large no. of peigon(kabutar) in this village.
