D velampalli is a panchayat,having 80 to 100 families and of more than 600 people. Most of people in this village are velama naidus,so this village is called as velampalli. In the starting of 1990's one incident took place by an person,from that incident this place is populared for Lord Shiva.And then the name of velampalli is changed to Devudu Velampalli in furthurD velampalli is a piligram place in dakkili mandal. This is situated and surrounded by hills(velugondalu).

* This is an small village famous for lord shiva Temple. Every year the festival conducted in april year by the villagers and by temple people is a big occassion in the surronding villages and mandals.

* People from nellore,prakasem,chittoor,kadapa and Tamil Nadu will attend and do this occassion very success.

* Karthika Masam (5 week's) pooja also very famous in this temple.

* Most of the people are dependent in agriculture,weat is the main crop and that also produced only once of a year due to lack of water problem.

* Present there is no representive person(sarpanch) is there for this panchayat,

* Government elimentary school is there upto 5th standard only.

*The main thing in this village is the "STAMBALAGIRI EESWARAIAH TEMPLE" many of piligrams donated money for developing the temple.

* Red sandal is the famous and costiest wood, rarely found in the world, those are found in this Hills.
