BITIWADA is the village situated on the river bed  of Nagavali. A village with more than 200 years of history. As per the analysis many people from the regions of Telangana, Rayalaseeme and Andhra were migrated to this palce

The village was with a population more than 500 during the 1970-1980 . There were 40 brahmin families .now there are only less than 10 families. Many families are migrated after completion of  education to cities / towns like Srikakulam, Vizia Nagaram, Visakhapatnam and Hyderabad and Maximum no of families are settled. But most of the people make visit to the village during the time of festival like Sakranthi / Goddes festival Puritala Polamma and Nukalamma Jatara.

The village is supported with Govt High School and Primary School. The Village is also supported with Primary Health Center

The sorrounding village students after completion of primary education join in the high school for higher education , The School is giving eduacation to 4- 5 Villages

The canal routed through the river Nagavali supplies water  for the crops during summer season. Paddy and sugar cane are the main crops. The village temperature is aroung 15° C winter and 35-38° during Summer.

The sorrounding atmosphere of Nagavali is very pleasant and suitable for cinimatography. 

The Sangam  is the place aound 3km from Bitiwada where Lord Siva Temple is there where the rivers Nagavali, Vegavathi, and Suvarnamukhi joins called Triveni Sangamam . The History says that the River Nagavali is formulated by Lord Balarama .

The people sorrounding Sangam visit the temple in Karthika Masa (Telugu calender) and on Sivarathri Day. A Jathara takes place every year for aweek days .
