OverView Of Gopuvaripalem

GOPUVARIPALEM is a Panchayat and famous village in Vinkonda Constitution. The Name of GOPUVARIPALEM was named by Ancients from the hereditary name of GOPU, since the majority of People are from GOPU. Shortly we call it as GVP. 

GVP Population is 1000 and has Ramalayam which is the major temple, and has one Government Primary School, which is located at 1 Km west to GVP. The residents of GVP has their surnames as follows Gonuguntla. Gopu, Katla, Pulukuri, Mukkapati, Konakanchi and many others.

Majority of people are cultivators and some are doing their businesses in nearby towns Like Vinukonda, Narasaraopet, Guntur.

Botimeeda Anjaneyaswamy Temple is the site of a major religious fair dedicated to Hanuman.

We have a lot of festivals they are belongs to HINDU religion, very old village and famous in Vinkonda Constitution.

The summer months can get exceedingly hot while winters are mild. Rainfall is due to the monsoon and is concentrated in the months of July–September.
