gotra/Or gohghar Gotra person in around 1200/500 acres. Most of the villagers are farmers.there are 7-8 castes in the village. Yadavs are in majority.there is a MAHADEV Temple near kheda, which was made by the people of cahandanwas. people from distant villages come for worship.On the occasion of MAHA SHIV RATRI a MELA is organised. Local godfather of our village is BABA CHARANDAS. He was known for his courtesy and gracious for the people of village and around other villages. He is worshipped as a god of gods in the village. The land irrigated in the village is best form of land available in haryana for agriculture and horticulture purposes. There is a full fledged pond{jhod in hindi} for all time water usage. People are highly educated. Village has given country many brave soldiers and best apart engineers. Village was known for its havelis, which were established almost before any other village nearby. Even in olden days village had given many brave soldiers in the war of raos vs british. TEEJ, MAKAR SAKRANTI, HOLI, DIWALI, are some festivals which gives the village a colour of cooperation and unity. in the Village Govt .Middel School & Govt.
