DAUNA is a lovely hamlet falling under two districts Bhagalpur and Banka. Its surrounding villages are CHIRAIYYA,SANGRAMPUR,BACKCHAPPER, PAWAI,JAANKIPUR,ODAI,GOBRAIN.BHANDARBANand SAJJAUR .It has a vast swathe of fertile agricultural land. It is called the Rice Bowl of the area as it produces a large quantity of rice sufficient to feed the population of the area. It is a predominantly Muslim village although some other castes such as Yadav,Harijan,etc. also reside in the village. A small rain-fed brook called Belaasi flows through the village thereby dividing it nto two parts.Although most of the people are engaged in agriculture and allied activities, some people are also in Govt. and private service and jobs.A trunk road connecting the village with the main road has been laid along the river.There is a famous spot at the main road called the SEEMAR KA GAACHH where ,of late, an arcade of shops has come up that has added to the hustle and bustle of the hamlet.It consists of UTTAR TOLA, DAKKHIN TOLA,PACHCHHIM TOLA,MATKHABBA, SAJJADPURand MOMIN TOLA.There is always a complete communal harmony-in the village. A big garden found also between the village in this garden a number of mangoes tree found before 2 year in this garden  make on fair. today this village develop and a number of students study from out of viilage. Suuni Muslim found in this village
