Boravancha also known as Borwancha, is a small and beautiful village with a population of around 2000 inhabitants, having the history of more than 500 years with extent of 4000 Acres of land . Prior to Independence of India, this village was governed by Nizams of Hyderabad. Even though it is geographically located deep inside Andhra region, it was administered by the Nizams through Warangal District Administration.A POLICE NAKA (police station ) constructed by Britishers in year 1919 (1328 Fasli ) in Krishna district .
Most of the inhabitants of this village belong to the clan of a well known Saint Hazrat Syed Shah Ali Quadri (rahmatullah alaih), believed to be most religious and pious person and a descendant of Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu alaihi wasallam. The living population of Quadris is probably his 10th and 11th generation. Here you find most of the people with same initial or surname as SYED and QUADRI.
Every year the villagers celebrate death anniversary namely Sandal & Urs as a tradition (in the fond memory of SYED SHAH ALI QUADRI RAHMATULLAH ALLAY in the month of Zul Qada of Hijra calendar) . And also celebrate MILAD-UN-NABI in the month of Rabi'AL-Awwal , also celebrate JHANDE ( Islamic Religion flag of PEERAN -E-PEER GHOUSLADAM DASTHAGIR ) in the month of RABI'AL-THANI . The mango tree adjacent to the Dargah is believed to have been planted by Hazrat Syed Shah Ali Quadri r.a. more than 450 years ago. Generally people of this village are known to be pious and most of the people have performed hajj and practice Islam.
Here you will find pleasant and natural air. In borawancha Hindus and Christians are bought to village from different places for cultivation of lands of Jagirdars (landlords) . And also all communities living here like brothers and sisters. Its beautiful village.Every evening all the community members will gather and discuss about the current situation .
