Namaskar & thanks a lot for showing interest in my village NARWEY, block MARTINGANJ, DISTT. AZAMGARH, U.P. 276303 INDIA. Narwey is a village known for a Taal having 989 bighas (2472500 sq. mtr area, 247-25 hectares) situated on north side of main village (gaon). This village was under governance of JAUNPUR KE RAJA in BRITISH ERA. This village is full of most peace loving people. In my knowledge no MURDER ever took place in my village due to personal enmity. Village has a population of appx 6000. People from dozens of cast are living in harmony. Thakur's are largest in population fallowed by Harizen, yadav, kewat, Brahmin, kanhar, nai, badhai, kumhar, Mushahar & a muslim family etc. At present village PRADHAN is a woman .She is wife of Pramod Singh .Actually She is doings remarkable development for this Narve village.. On eastern side of main village harijans BASTI is situated. North east side YADAV'S MADAIYAAN is situated. Kewat's are on north west side ( TAAL KE US PAAR ) near gambhirpur to martinganj road.
My village has blessings of one MAHATMA / SANT NAMELY DAYAL DAS BABA ( A samadhi mandir & sant ashram ). Other village deity are KANKOR BABA ( A PEEPAL TREE ) , CHAKAR DEVA BABA ( A STONE ) , KALI MAI TEMPLE AT BARDAIHA , SOM MAI TEMPLE ETC. Unfortunately roads connecting my village are in poor condition. Officials are not interested in developement of village. My village celebrate " DAYALDAS BABA KA MELA" on auspicious occasion of day of marriage of BHAGWAN RAM & MATA SITA in full strength. Most of the married daughters of village join this mela. Everyone men or women , child or old , daughter or daughter in law has to visit DAYALDAS BABA KA MANDIR on this day in evening in month of november/ december. Pepole are religeous in nature. People from most families are earning theirs livelyhood in other metro city of india. Main occupation of people is FARMING. Presently most of youth have developed their interest towards service sectors ,resulting largelarge n of govt job especially in forces came in to existance .in one family known Diwakar Singh family total 04 personals are giving their best services for security of the nation with full devotion &ded ovation at various sectors....
