About and History Of Babina

Babina falls under erstwhile "Bauni State" of the Nawab of Kadaura. Presently it is inhabited by the people representing different casts and religions. However the development of the village happened in the tenure of Shri Vir Singh Sengar, who represented UP assembly as a MLA. Shri Vir Singh was instrumental in the infrastructure  development of the village that includes Electrification, Water supply, Health, Sanitation and  Road connectivity.

Shri Vir Singh singh who was equally respected by all the religions, casts and creeds however died young and his younger brother, Satyapal Singh Sengar, who is considered a saint, a pious soul himself took over the reigns of the large Babina Farms and other  brother Rajendra Singh Sengar took over to social life.

This is the largest family of the village with over 50 members at present. The younger members are holding high positions in different Public  and Private sector companies where as older members including the youngest brother, Shri Pradumn Kumar Sengar (Vakil Saheb)are engaged primarilyin Farming and Farm related business like Farm implements including tractors. However they are also in Indian Oil, Indane and Yamaha business at Orai and Kalpi.

All the villagers respect this family for their contribution to the Deavelopment of Babina and nearby Villages like Kathpurwa and Kadaura.
