The old Kusumba village was located to the river bank side of river Panzra which was lost due to the flood, that was occurred to Panzra river in between years 1864-1865. After that the village was relocated to some distance from the river bank Panzra, this newly situated village is the current Kusumba Village. The architectural structure of Kusumba village as a like have a cross line Road (Each road meets every another road in 90 degree) like Haddppa Sanskruti Designed by Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya. There is a very beautiful hemadpanthi temple of Kalambeshwar (God Shiva) Near by panzra river which is very old.Kusmumba in old days was very famous for "Bunch of Mango Trees" It used to call "AAMRAI" in Marathi. With the recent development it has diminished. It is the unique village where it is been said that every alternate home has someone who has accepted "TEACHER" as profession.Regards,Latif
