Bansa village was under the rule of GAUR rajput, the last ruler of this was Meer Khan converted muslim from GAUR rajput who was killed about 1100 years before in fight with JALIM SINGH ruler of KUCHANMAN CITY, thereafter Mertiya Rajput ruled the village till 1955 when the JAGIRI was abolished.

Bansa village has MATAJEE KA MANDIR about 1 KM in NORTH of main village, Meerkhan jee ki DURGAH is situated in the South of main village. One old temple is in the heart of village constructed by Bugaliya JATs.One old FORT is there constructed by RAGHUNATHSINGH MERTIYA, now it is unmaintained.Bansa village has mixed population of HINDUS of various casts.There is no muslim in this village.

Main profession of the villagers is Agriculture. Has two Government Schools ie 10th and 8th classes.
