OverView Of Jagatiya

Total population of jagatiya village belongs to a single family of baghel(dhangar) caste. Most of the villagers are small farmers and most backward. This village was originally colonized by a shepherd named Dyoli singh and his two sons Tunda singh and Kaxman singh in about 1875 ad. Inhabitant of this village are still deprive of basic amenities like drinking water. Earth water in village is heavy and salty therefore women brings drinking water from almost 1 km away from village on their head. Being politically backward  and economically weak their sound could not reach to government offices hence no government scheme of social welfare has been implemented in village except primary school in village. This primary school is also result of untiring efforts of first engineer of village  dhirendra pal singh son of  sri sodan singh. Upper primary school in jagatiya.
