Harsimane is a small village with arround 14 Houses and arround 50 people residing there.These people are normally Havyaka brahmin community people.People here are basically farmers.They grow beetle nuts.They also grow paddy.Village is surrounded by jungle area.Every year villagers offer pooja to"god tiger"which is located nearby jungle called "Hulidevara Kanu".Elders in the village say idols, and other articles found here are very old.Archeological survey of India need to find out details of these articles to bring some light on this aspect.There is a hill near the village called "Kalkattu Chouka".If you climb up the hill, you find one big boulder on top of the hill.Five people can sit on it at a time.One can really enjoy the 360 degree scenery of surrounding hills with good breezes.One can enjoy sunrise and sunset sceneries from here.
