village kangan is situated in west side of pulwama,and is 2kms away frm pulwama district.it is a very beautiful village,the main occupation is farming here and a variety of vegetables and fruits are grown here.village kangan is also famous in milk production also .village kangan has got its name from a famous spring kaninag which during the course of time has changed kangan.the ziyarat of famous sufi saint hazrat sayed jaffer R.A is also located here in centre Wre r u my dear of kangan,and the urs mubark is celebrated every year in march 14th.
