Ancient name of this village was Kundanpur sahar .On the occassion of Lord Shiva called Mahashiv ratri a viillage fair being held twice in a year.Shiv temple also appeared (Shiv ling) by itself naturally.Beside it lord Krishana's charet broken (Krishan ka gadda)located in Rampur village. I am proud of my beautiful and peacefull village.
