The place is located in Jewargi Taluk, which is 40kms away from Jewargi and 80kms from Gulbarga, 110kms from Bijapur.

The Place is famous for Agriculture and Politics, Our major growth is Toor Dal, The place is so hot as it is in Gulbarga District, now a major farmers are turned to grow Sugarcane, as Hugar Sugars Located near yadrami(Malli 12kms away).

The place is famous in celebrating the Festivals and fairs(Jatri). we have many temples like Basaveshwar Temple, Dyavamma temple, and near to place we can see many places like Sumbood, Aloor, and many more.

Basaveshwar Jatri wii held every year 11days after Ugadi where people from all over Karnataka (who belongs to Yadrami) will join. it will go for 3 days,

Dyavamma Jatri will held once in 3 years. it will be the great festival for people. this will go three days.

The place was rulled by Dharmsingh(Congress) MLA for 40years. Now the present MLA is Dodappagowda(BJP)
