OverView Of Dighi

Dighi is beautiful small town Ahamadnagar District which is surrounded by nature. Its end point  of  Ahamdnagar(District) & central point of three major cities or we can say Taluka's like Karjat (20km), Karmala(25km), JamKhed(30km).There is River Called Seena which is passes through town thats the reason people belongs to Town used to say himself as 'Seenaputra'.Major Crowd of Dighi is From Nimbalkar (Raje) Families near about 60 to 65 %.Its Royal (surname)Family having his own Historical Background.There are more families like Ingle, Bhoite, Maharnavar, Kharat, Thorat and others.There are two famouse temples of Loard Mahadev and Maruti (Hanuman). Vithhal Temple is in under construction. Loard mahadev temple is quite older and having historical background as 'It was constructed in just one night itself '.people of dighi are very kind in nature and suportative to each other.They celebrated every ocasion with full joy,josh .Major farming Land is own by Raje-Nimbalkar family members.There is no place for cast and communism in town. all families live together happily since many year.once upono time there was huge production in from farms due to this happiness were there but from past few years Maximum youth crowd of Dighi are moved to pune/ mumbai and other location for employment due lack of electricity and water for farming but now days there waves of changes due to change in ledership (MLA). Hopefully days will back soon. all In one Dighi is beautiful location to live.
