Turakapeta is small village of amadalavalasa mandal which have two ponds and four major water canals which are used to cultivating rice, greengram, blackgram, jute mainly and two separate wells are there for drinking and usage purpose, here people are worship to " gramadevathas" whose are maridithalli, asirithalli, mahalaxmithalli. On every summer our near village people conducted mahalaxmithalli yetra. vedullavalasa, sirisimpeta, chepanapeta, nimmathorloda, korapam, nelliparti, gollapeta, chintapeda, dandevalasa, bobbilipeta surrounding peoples are attended to it. Recently we have cc roads and drinking tap water facility but some of the areas sanitation is not good. Most of the children are going to private schools and our mpup school school is not fulfilled and z.p.h school is there in near village vedullavalasa. Employee is not better even today but most of them trying to join defence. Our defence jobs very miner in number. Recently our village person madhusunarao ijjada get IRS in civil services exam but Even though it has not any bus facility and we are depending on auto's and own vehicles.our nearest railway station srikakulam road at amadalavalasa
