Shadipur momian is a village in Patran tensil. Its name comes from Shadi ram who was a diwan of Patiala province. And rest of name comes from Baba Moman das who a sadhu. Before its name was just momian but after independence its name comes to Shadipur Momian. Because diwan Shadi ram was the owner of this village. Before It was a big village. Diwan shadi Ram had good relations with area well known name Bhajan Singh Dhaliwal who was the son of Sardar BISHAN SINGH who killed the most wanted Daku that time named Mangal Singh. Now also known as Chubare ale. Around 1997 Sardar Sewa Singh who was Sarpanch of this village at that time distributes the village into 4 panchayats for their better development and administrative reforms.
