Vemulanarva is a ancient village. Earlier it was built far from the present place. There is a Lord Shiva Temple build by Raja Vasireddy Venkatadri Naidu the then ruler of the area. It is said that he has built 100 temples and this temple is one among them. Still the temple is strong and Lord Ramalingeswara will give us his darshan. We can see sculptures carved on rock lying beside the temple as a symbol of ancient temple.
