Sasalu(561204) is cluster of adjoining villages administered together for tax and land tenure purposes in the states of Karnataka.it consists of many villages like gummanahalli, Machhenahalli, chennaveranahalli, baktarahalli and many more other villages. We can find more cultivated lands surround by it belongs to doddaballapur taluk.

Gummanahalli is a village next to sasulu hobli...the people in this village are friendly & helpful sasulu & gummanahalli are separated by a lake which is now dried up. It consists of temple shanimahatma maramma & fair is organised every 3or 5 yrs according to head of the villages. It as a large tamarind tree which is about 150 yrs old. Village consists of all types of religion & there is no difference among the people. It as many land lords gummanahalli is well connected by roads through buses from doddaballapur & Bangalore to madhugiri. The famous bus along this route is SLN.
